What method do you use to nuno felt? I know many felters roll their work around pool noodles. One of our local felters uses an old fashioned tupperware lid and rubs the fibres together. Very effective and an equally good workout as the rolling method.
I now use the tupperware lid to start off the process and then (because I'm super lazy) - finish off with an electric sander.
I full my work very thoroughly after reading an article from Treetops Colour Harmonies about the importance of the fulling process. I used to use hot water - but now just throw and rub for longer. Apparently ( and they provided very good images) the heat reduces the vibrancy of the colour.
