Felted Collar

This was a fun piece I made on the spur of the moment. A fun collar in merino and silk. I added a metal clasp at the back to allow for a variety of sizing.

I used a shibori stitching technique to give the shaping. It is stitched prior to felting so the shaping is felted into the garment.

I'll add this the the display at the local Art Gallery next weekend.
